Sounds good . It was marathon weekend here just gone. Lots of publicity about mood enhancing qualities of exercise , running in particular . It keeps me sane. Fuck even Sandrine does it. Obviously not enough  as arse still large 

Kids have been here last few days , that always cleans up my act. As did three meetings , one difficult by lunchtime today.  So early night.earlier  Leaving last meeting get a call from  sales team  admin and we have a call   Urgent within 20 mins. The wonder of modern comms .usually it means  current boss is leaving or similar announcement .  But much worse news today.  The guy three to the right of me in the team photo I sent you has had a heart attack , massive, and in a coma. We worked quite closely at times during the  last five or six years or so and I'd consider him a friend . We  also won the sales event together. Has daughter about the same age as mine. So thoughts with JP. The tone of the call the call was to expect worst. Hoping for different . 

Thing is all of us would have expected it to be head of sales leaving, and the more competitive amongst us of would have spent the 20 mins notice wondering how we could  get ourselves  in the gap, including me.

Work very busy. As usual. In frimley hq  all this week . Kids here as all  her mums french visitors now back in France . Eloise had another part of her french gcse yesterday . This was news to me as I thought she'd done it all. This was  some more writing in french that she'd memorised . Reason for mentioning it is that according to her mother rather than give eloise a quiet 'exam like' environment to do it, they sat her at the back of her Spanish class while the others watched a film. S is on the war path and probably left shouty messages for the head teacher etc.

 Also last year eloise  got accused of bullying another kid.  It was very low level . As usual s went off the deep end and I ended up smoothing it over with school and dealing with eloise. The family of the other girl had tried to get eloise excluded.  On Sunday I bumped into a friend of mine Henry (an  actor in currently very watched cop drama on Brit tv) who knew the family concerned and told me that they were all a right pain in the arse and some of his kids had recieved the same accusations. Anyway his mate , a fat bloke called nick (50s) is struggling .Wife left 2 1/2 years ago. The only person who was surprised when it happened was him apparently . He'd been sent to Borstal when he was a kid for a few weeks, after going of the rails. He'd never offended again but the experience haunts him in so much as I heard the whole story and I've only met him once or twice before. He went off the fruit machine and Henry the actor told me that nick could be difficult but he was his mate and that was how it was . I admired the loyalty. 

General election. Labour in disarray . One thing that social media gives is a public voice to those on the left of the  lp . Largely They come across as mad. More interested in internal wrangling between them and the 'blairites' than presenting anything electable to the country. They paint a picture of sitting in smokey committee rooms, arguing over party regulations and the like , with the curtains thick and pulled  over the windows.  Corbyn has less than 0% chance of being elected pm. He makes his predecessor ,who also had no chance, look  like jfk in comparison . 

 Probably will vote libdem as I suspect will millions
